Fantastic opportunity for a Senior Process Design Engineer to work at the Westlake’s Science Park. Do you want to work on the biggest nuclear project in the UK?

Are you a talented Senior Process Engineer seeking a new position? My client is an award winning nuclear engineering consultancy who have recently won the largest decommissioning nuclear project within the UK. As such they are now seeking senior process design engineer to join their team at Westlake’s Science Park.

CLIENT BACKGROUND
This is a fantastic opportunity for a process engineer to join one of the UK’s leading nuclear engineering consultancies. My client has grown organically over 50 years and now employ over a 1000 engineers worldwide.
They have positioned themselves to be a key provider of decommissioning and new build design services to the expanding UK nuclear sector.
The Westlake’s office employs 40 multi-disciplined engineers and is a newly refurbished building. My cleint have recently won the largest decommissioning project in the UK and as such they have an immediate need for a senior process design engineer to join the established team.

DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The senior process engineer role is a split between management and technical delivery. You will be responsible for developing your own designs as well as leading a team of more junior engineers.

Typically this will include
* Development of complex process designs to satisfy technical specifications
* Preparation of supporting calculations/information to substantiate design
* Provide contributions to design reviews, safety reviews (Risk Assessments and HAZOP’s) from technical standpoint
* Preparation of technical specifications in liaison with client and project team
* Produce design documentation including scope of works, method statements, risk assessments, and technical files.
* Preparation of installation, commissioning and operating documents

REQUIREMENTS:
Ideally you will have a degree in process or chemical engineering or equivalent qualification and demonstrable design experience within the nuclear or another highly regulated industry i.e. Oil and Gas or Pharmaceutical.

In return my client offers flexible conditions with core working hours of 10am to 4pm.
